The words “mellow fruitfulness” could have been coined solely for Burgundy. The fruit of course comes from the vines, now all of the colours of russet, but it is also the maturing walnuts, apples, truffles, we could go on…

This peaceful room, Autumn, is tucked away in the North East corner, overlooking the vines and Olivier Leflaive.

The original fireplace and traditional furniture, such as the mahogany sleigh bed, give it the feel of another time, whilst the warm golden tones recall exotic spices and the earthy scent of fallen leaves.

The en suite also reflects warm autumnal colours, balancing the clean lines of the modern fittings. You can imagine soft leaves at your feet as you enjoy the warm autumn rainfall of the Hansgrohe Raindance shower….
