Chagny is a pretty little place, a typical French town with cobbled streets, a thriving town centre and one of the most famous restaurants in the world – Lameloise.

It also boasts a fabulous sculpture by the American artist Serra, set against the church – formidable!

Chagny’s Sunday market is the one that all the local people go to. It has a fascinating array of stalls with all sorts of food etc.
